I work as an English teacher in a primary school in Goracici. In 2000 I graduated from the Faculty of Philology, at the department for the English language and literature.
In the same year I spent a lovely summer on Malta where I attended general and business English courses. Two years later I passed my professional examination for working in state institutions. In the summer of 2004 and 2009 I spent a month in a language camp in Oxford where I acted as a group leader. It was a great professional experience for me since I made important business contacts with the colleagues worldwide.
Methodology, innovations and the latest teaching methods have always interested me. Thus, I decided to improve my knowledge in that area and I enrolled at the postgraduate specialist studies. In May 2008 I finished my specialist studies at the Faculty of organizational science in Belgrade and defended the specialist dissertation titled „Information technology in teaching English in primary education“. At the same time I attended an international conference for English teachers at the Teacher training faculty in Jagodina, Serbia which was organized by the Embassy of Finland. There, I gave the presentation regarding the innovations in teaching young learners. I also wrote a professional paper titled „Video material in teaching English to young learners“ in the resource book for teachers in primary school. Since my graduation I have attended a lot of seminars and conferences for English teachers. In 2010. I finished my Master thesis in methodology and defended my Master thesis: “The influence of task-based activities on grammar performance of young learners”
I am active and permanently interested in further studying. That’s why I have applied for the seminar Facebook, Twitter and Blog in English language teaching
